World Bank still expects Russia's GDP to decrease 0.2% in 2023
WASHINGTON, Jun 6 (PRIME) -- The World Bank forecasts Russia's gross domestic product (GDP) to decline in real terms by 0.2% in 2023 and expects growth by 1.2% in 2024, the bank said in a report on Tuesday.
The estimate of the GDP decline for 2022 is up 3.1 percentage points from the January forecast, and it is downgraded by 0.4 percentage points for 2024.
In 2025, the bank expects Russia's GDP to grow by 0.8%.
